Anyone bought stock size 13" tires lately???

I just recently got back into an Rx-7 and started looking for some new tires. It seems like the 205/60/13 tire is NLA unless you are buying track tires. The 185/70/13 stock size is still around and available from 8 or so companies. Has anyone bought any recently, have a recommendation? I was looking at Falken or Kumho. All the others are private brand (aka generic) tires that I normally stay away from.

I bought the 185/70/13 size at Discount tire in the Falken brand.
Most 13 inch tire sizes are all season tires so it really doesn't matter what you get.

I bought the Falkens at Discount. I want to say it cost me around $300 out the door about 8 months ago. Decent tire for a stock wheel.

Geez man. I payed about 250. Mounted, balanced, the whole works. The only thing I'm miffed about it that they took my aluminum valve caps and gave me cheap rubber ones.

Federal makes an all season 205/60/13, Formoza FD1 $366 for 4 shipped. Search 205/60/13 on ebay. I tried to get them locally here in FL but couldn't. You can look for a distributor close to you here Federal Tyres - Corporate - Distribution Map Then call them for a dealer close to you. Or order them on ebay and pay the shipping included in the price, and then pay someone to mount them.
I found a set of 15x7 wheels before I pulled the trigger on the FD1's.

Hell, it's hard to find good tires in 15 inches sizes now.

Other than track tires, you won't find a performance 205/60X13 out there anymore. I have the
Cooper COBRA because I wanted RWL tires but they suck compared to my old Bridgestone REs
from the 90s.

I'm just going to put some nice track tires on my spare waffles to use for fun days.

Nice find. $67 for shipping to me (4), $87 less off the total shipped price from ebay. Back when I was looking ebay was the only place I could find them.
If I wasn't running 15's I'd try again to find them locally. Funny thing was I called the distributor in Orlando, he gave me a dealer in my city, I called them and he tried but couldn't get them. I guess the distributor only thought he had them.

I found 205/60/13 Pro Meter brand tires from Mega Tires in Lincoln Nebraska. The Formoza's are no longer available anywhere. 4 tires including shipping was 298.00. His # is 402-323-4537.
