Anybody got a good pic of the rear cargo carpet?

Like the title says, anybody got one? I am too lazy to go out to the garage to take a pic (car is in hibernate mode as it is cold as hell here).

Eh, not exactly what i was looking for, but thanks.

I need a pic of the whole rear cargo section so that another member can get an idea of the shape to verify that he has the pattern to make rear cargo mats for our cars, win!

The cargo cover also includes the bins and the part that covers the lower front of the bins and snaps onto the sheetmetal framework of the bins near the floorpan. It's not a small piece. I know I have at least 1 of them loose but it may be from a 2nd gen parts car. I'll need to check and see. Do you want one for a pattern or a paper template?

Yeah i know its all connected, i just need a pic so that the other forum member i have been talking to can verify his pattern so that he can make drop in cargo mats for the rear hatch area of our cars. Would be really nice because most of our rear hatch carpet is turning to dust (at least mine is, lol).

Sounds like he needs a pattern instead of a pic. Problem is, most of the oem carpet has shrunk a bit and will be too small/narrow for a pattern template.

You get what you pay for.
Good parts aren't cheap. Cheap parts ain't good.

That's from Black Dragon Auto's website, I believe. You gotta keep in mind that those are direct drop-ins, premolded. That's where the price gets high.

Ah... Makes sense now... I was looking at them as just carpeting that was cut for the back. Still too rich for my wallet!

Here's a stock one from an 84 GSL:

They are very hard to find in good shape. However someone cut one from a carpet remnant for my silver 85 GSL. It's a good match for the red interior and is actually much nicer than the original, thicker pile and a smoother surface.

So I'd recommend a trip to the carpet shop to look for a good color match and make your own.
