http://www.jdm-online.com/mazda/13bt.html

$850 for a T2 engine and tranny, shipping to my house is $166, that sounds like a hell of a deal.

I dont think they are scammers or anything, I've heard of JDM engine/trannies being that price before.

dont you need an ecu/wiring harness though?

100t2, that will include a cut wiring harness which is all you need. You'll want to scavange a few connectors.

No, but those connecter will simplify and clean up install. You wouldn't want to use the crusty, baked 15 year old **** anyways.

usually jdm engines, i know the company that i get them from gives them to me with ecu, complete engine with all accessories, and tranny, with a cut engine harness. The shipping is so cheap because they get a flat rate through a company usually. So, if you get a pall local to you to buy an engine, u can split shipping, because you can fit two engines on one pallet just a little advice for you guys.

I just spoke to a rep from there. I, too, had the same question on if they were going to get me on the turbo. No it is included.

They also have an option to buy it sans transmission for 650. I think I might have a winter project in the works. When I come up with the cash I'll check them out and see what happens.

I thinking about not getting the tranny combo and just using a lightweight flywheel and the TII counterweight to compensate. (I've spent the weekend reading through all those faqs and such. Its a pity so many of the sites are down being years old)

There's a company http://www.jhotimports.com/ that sells T2 packages. I had one dealing with them and I'm impressed.

They sold me what they thought were 4x114.3 rims (3 piece Volk's). The inner rim said 4x114.3 but the actual mounting was 4x100 and they're eating it due to error. Allot of "companies" would just not respond to emails like that, but they were quick and aranged everything to be shipped back to them. When I get to replacing my Suby engine I'll be buying a swap from them most likly-- of course it depends on the price.

YEA!!! for my 1000th post!!!~!

I was just reading over JDM-Online's shipping info and living in Pennsylvania would be 80 bucks cheaper. I'm prolly just going to ship it to a friend over there and then go pick it up from their place. (screwy flat rate shipping deals)

yeah 100th post! TAKE THAT rotor vs. piston!

I agree. I think the mods need to go through the FAQs and take down the defunct sites.

^^ If I'm successful in attempting a swap (I said attempting not completing) this winter I'd be glad to help start piecing together a new Turbo II swap link-list or FAQ page.

Honestly it sounds like a bad idea with the constant elevation in gas prices, but I'm going to suck it up.
