Let's analyze what 205-60-16 means.

205mm is the width of the tire, which translates to 8". (roughly, exact is 8.0708")
60% is the amount of sidewall based on the tire's width (Meaning the sidewall is 60% of 205mm which is 123mm and this is what screws up your speedo-calibration)
16" is the required rim size.

You have to have 16x8 rims to fit those particular tires.

Your total height (in mm and it's diameter, of course) is 652.5mm which is ~63mm difference from stock 589.2mm (185/70R13 being stock). What does this mean? Your speedometer is going to be approximately 5mph slower than your real speed. (of course, you can't be going -5mph sitting still so this is directly proportionate to your speed) Meaning your speedometer would read 55mph when you were actually going 60mph. If it makes it easier, there is a 10% difference.

If you don't understand what I just said, just Google up "tire sizes explained."

Think it through next time

I plan on using (14x6) panasport wheels if they have the right offset.or vto performance wheels. Any other pictures with 14x6 and what offset you are using?I have new tires all ready which are (205/60/14)..I would never use 16 wheels on a old school car, looks out of place.

Pacer "Regatta" machined silver wheels (14"x 6" with 38mm offset) and 205/60/14 Yokahama AVS ES100 tires mounted on them.
