Just got in from SS7, man was it hot !! does any one know how many thousand RPM's the cars in the courtyard were spinning. I could hear it but i wasn't right there... *******-A !! sick stuff.........It was a good day, fun. There was alot of money, sweat, and just plain love in that parking lot(s) Thanks guys ! well done !

 

they turned on the LeMans, Lolas, DAytona first gen. RX-7. But the highlight to me, and i think most would agree was abel ibarra's turbo rotary. it literally shook the entire complex from the backfires!

 

i really like his R-100. it wasn't there this year, neither was mariah.. but how many RPM's ??? 12,000 ???

Agreed. That **** was SICK! I was right in the path of the right exhaust (which is right in front of the K&N decal) about 10 feet away from it, and when that **** went to 10,000 rpm I felt like I was 2 inches away from it! I almost went deaf!

 

I saw the sweet parking spot you got...sorry I missed you this year.

It was a nice day, except for the intense heat! I'll try to post some pics later.

i didnt win anything at all i just realized. wow. i scored some free mazdatrix decals and some mints and toothpicks from them, but in all reality i lost money.

that car was parked right next to me during the event. i didn't see under the hood
but i felt it should have won because that car was CLEAN.

whacky, i'm the silver 1st gen with the mariah body kit, black hood,and big *** radial t/a's white letters out. i was the long hair hovering around it.

renz, imagine to cost to fly in from new zealand and back, hotel,food/drink, rent-a-car for 3 days/2 days.. sometimes cost is not an issue. down the road you'll look back and be happy that you attended a " priceless " event like SoCal rx club / mazda's sevenstock.

i would think that 1st place went to that super, super clean GSL-SE parked on the grass right in front of the building. that was somebodys labor of love.
