I didn't port them. I probably would have done a better job, not to toot my own horn.
You should have seen the ports in the engine I built and dropped into PercentSevenC's GLC Sport. Those were some ports!
Edit: Here they are. https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showthread.php?t=405995 I ended up doing a quickie rebuild to change some things and paint the side plates and repainted the rotor housings. They turned out better looking than in the pics.

Gotta pull it out.

Got it out and decided to paint stuff to match the engine.

The hood used to be blue.

Wire type spring vs NF01 spring. We went with the NF01 spring.

It makes young people old. You don't want to know how bad they are for your health (they're marketed to children!). I don't eat them, but the boxes are a convenient size.
Got it together.

The resurfaced 215mm flywheel.

225m clutch and pressure plate. How to make them fit?

Easy answer.

But will it work?

Looks like I got it on there.

225mm clutch on a 215mm flywheel is possible.

Ooh look at that. Complete with RB front mount bar for 13B into 12A chassis and competition motor mounts.

Had to trim some of the motor mount shell on this side.

Zoomed in on the picture above.

And here's how it all looks thus far.

The owner picked it up today and the rest will be finished down at the shop. For more info, be sure to check the website at uh... hmm. I'll let you know the URL when I know the URL.
In the mean time, enjoy a picture of the high volume Carter pump that will be going on soon and...

the old exhaust I took off.

It's not too horrible looking. It didn't leak and had a sporty sound. Of course for me it's stock or RB. Nothing in between. That's why I was not happy with this system. If you want it, PM me and I can get you in contact with the owner.

that RE manifold is B-E-A-UTIFUL!! where did you get it? you dont see those very often. i got rid of one a while back and now regret it.
so what exactly did you do to mount the 225mm clutch to the 215mm flywheel? i have a local rotor head who needs a way to do this.

The RE manifold came with the engine. I don't know anything about it other than the threaded holes needed cleanup and the mounting holes needed some oval action. Oh, and the carb sits 12° tilted toward the engine. Strange.
I don't know about 'any' fastener shop. They have to be precise lengths with an unthreaded section in a precise thickness. Two bolts are thicker and longer (they're the alignment bolts).
We knew the RB bolts would work perfectly, and they did. Only $23 and we still have the six thick bolts that hold an aftermarket flywheel to an auto counterweight to use elsewhere.
Not running yet. If the carb tilt issue is a problem, we'll probably go with an RB modded Holley or something.
blwfly, I got it from Mazdatrix.

We got the car fired up today. It turns out the carb is a 48 IDF! What's the difference? The rear header pipe blued from perhaps an overly rich condition. I don't know a thing about Webers so tell me what's going on please.
halo!
another job well done there JEFF! Engine looks lovely!
The main difference between a 48IDF is : IDF has more progression holes than the IDA.Drives easier on part throttle that the average IDA.It allso has space for a choke, that the IDA doesnt.Lastly : The IDA can accept larger venturies than the IDF can.Thats what i can remember off the top of my head now.
Still a sharp Carb though!

We got the manifold fixed (was tilted some 12°, is now level), and the carb was rebuilt by a local carb expert. The car runs and drives really nicely now.
Enjoy this nice picture.

Hey guys, this car is for sale. The owner has too many projects and with this one being done, he wants to sell it.
I don't know how much interest this will generate so I'm posting this to find out.
If there is enough interest, I'll start a thread in the for sale section.

That car is beautiful. I want one! If you were in Canada and I had the cash.... dammit.
Good job Jeff. Maybe I'll be able to convince someone to go weber 13b up here so I can build one
