This was a car I found abandoned at a repair shop (been sitting there for 8 months). I tracked down the "sort-of" owner and bought the car from him for $150. $700 later, it now has an engine, decent interior and a functional braking system. I chose a charcoal gray and white color scheme for the interior and added white gauges. It had a dead igniter and frozen smog pump, so i pulled and plugged the rats nest, then opted for Jeff20B's direct fire system. -Only i wired everything in paralell instead of series, i used two relays to seperate the leading side from the trailing, and i chose direct fire for the trailing also because i thought it sounds cool to say i have one coil per spark plug and no wires to the dizzy cap. To mount them, i used two of the stock dual coil holders and welded them in place. For the four igniters, i didn't have a thick enough piece of aluminum handy, so i mounted them to a thin-ish piece and mounted that to the fan shroud (after cutting a hole in the shroud for air to pass through and cool the igniters). The only hang up is that if i mash the gas from a stop, the car will chug and stall. But if i accelerate slightly slower, the car really takes off. I think i must have hooked up a vacuum hose wrong. I know how you folks love pics...

The interior in that car is awsome man. I Love the white and black but knowing me I would have it dirty the first time I drove it.

I'm on board with jason. Looks fantastic. If I wasn't so hard on my 7 I might consider trying something that nice. But it would definitly be destroyed within a week. It's better in your hands than the jaws of a crusher.

Interesting, but these old eyes have trouble seeing much in your postage stamp sized pics, how about some bigger ones please.

I guess you dont drink coffee in that car eh? Looks nice, good job man.

On your accel problem, its probably the accel pump on the carb. Your symptoms are typical of that. Check it and we'll get you fixed up. Easy fix.
