I think if the course has any real length of straight sections, he will pass you pretty easily.

If it is all "twisty's", you might have a chance.

The SRT-4, is pretty potent, even in stock form.

you will beat him with 260 hp hands down but stock or lightly modded against an srt will lose. unless like stated above if theres twisties youd be the winner.

SRT-4's are pretty damn fast. 14 secs 1/4 mile off the assembly line.

It's hard to know without seeing how big your bridgeport is. There are "bridgeports" and then there are *****-out, hardcore "bridgeports" (we call 'em J Ports over here).

If it's a large port job, which you would expect with a 51mm carb, then I'd estimate your flywheel horsepower in the region of 240-270Hp.

You'd pick up a bit more if you joined your exhaust runners after the rear axle and used a single large muffler at the rear. You might also want to pick up a good clutch and >10ibs flywheel if you haven't already.

your pipes are too small for a bridge. got to use at least 2.25. in fact, a dual 2.5 is what I used in the RX-2. loud but fast.

My dad ported my motor back in march. hes been porting these bad boys since the 70's. Trust me! its a pretty ***** out BP. Yeah i think im gonna buy my 7 some new 2.5 pipes for Xmas, unless i get my turbo in by then. Im buying an SE motor tomorrow and im planning to turbo it. That should show up the SRT!!! I need something quieter in this damn neighborhood. My neighbors are gonna kill me one day.

use dual primaflow straight to quiet it down. it should be quiet and not restrictive since no glasspacks will be used.

hell with primaflow's. they are very restrictive. You want that Bridgeport to breath hard and shoot flames.

BTW, Royce, I will pick up the SE rotors this weekend for my P-PORT. I will call you or your dad to arrange it.

AND yes, I've known his DAD for years. In fact, I use to run with him at the track years ago including street racing back in the days Cool dude
