Stutering mabe detnation??????

I have a 79 12a that was turbod way back in the day. About 20 years ago. Its a draw trough system. For some reason i cant push any higher then about 6 to 6 PSi becacause it will start either stutering or detnating. An sugestions????? doesnt lean out. the timming is retarted. Should i get the MSD BTM????? HELP?

is the dizzy locked? if not lock it, then if that down work. you'll need two msds with btm. or just unplug the trailing plugs.

lock it to about 10 degrees should be good for around 10psi.

it could also be other things, charge temp getting to hot, if your turbo is going out of its efficency range, but the fuel should help it alittle. maybe you should call 680rwhp12a @ rotoryshack on this. do a search for him.

that was my plan but i wasnt sure if it would help or not. I will probably just get it though
