What caught me about this one was the line

"The mileage on the car averages about 9,075 miles per year, which is ideal for these rotary engines. This 12A Rotary runs great, and does not burn/leak oil."

Jeez.. sounds like a broken OMP to me hehe. Other than that though it looks like a good car. The guy must know at least *something* about it, since he's done the rat's nest removal and everything. Does this belong to anyone here? did I just miss the post or what?

At $1626 bid and 1.5 days to go, this looks like a good deal. But I'm out of the picture: already 3 FBs in the driveway.

This car looked pretty good until I saw this:

Regular maintenance of oil, lube, & filter (Quaker State)

YIKES, I wouldn't burn that in a old tractor, little alone in a ROTARY ENGINE.

Plus I did not see a picture of the engine compartment, which is a big indication of how it was kept up.

Yeah.... you never know, maybe the guy was using Quaker State synthetic because his engine was burning oil before... lol.

It's funny how people think burning oil is a *bad* thing...

Today my sister saw me start up my car and said, ooh, that's not good. (referring to the small puff of smoke that came out when I started it) I said no, that's normal. But she still said, "burning oil isn't good".

No sis, it's not good, it's GREAT. It's a wonderful feeling to know that your car is working the way it was *designed* to and burning oil

Hey, that's an original paint color? (car has been professionally repainted the original gorgeous chameleon charcoal color).

Kinda looks purple-ish to me.

Lol, especially with the thread tonight about the OMP and premix!

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=203197

Though this e-bay post is much better than the other one that was posted today with the 4wheel drive, R&P Steering, Power Seats and whatnot.. that was hilarious! The absolute best so far!
