Another DLIDFIS Question

I am starting to make a dlidfis setup, just got back from radioshack. I understand how it all hooks up except for how it hooks up to the ignition switch. All the pictures from another thread make the rest of the process easy, except for this little fact. If anyone could help out that'd be great. This is for a carbed 84 if that matters.

the white/black wire from the leading coils + terminal (stock location). (or black/white - cant remember exactly the correct color code)

Add a piece of wire to it and connect it to one of the leading coil's + terminal.

From there, place a jumper to the other coils + terminal.

wackyracer, I'm going to be back in Los Angeles from Dec 15th to like Jan 9th. Do you think you could help me set this up sometime between then? I can pay you in parts, if you need something I probably have it and need to get rid of it before I move my mom's house to TX.

No I haven't, is that basically just setting up a separate ignition switch?

It's like a remote ignition switch, yes. It can be placed near the battery and ignitors for shorter wire runs, and can be turned on and off remotely by the key switch. It allows for you to actually feed full battery voltage to the ignition components instead of having to funnel it through ancient ignition switch wires. It reduces the load on the rest of the ignition system so things like the fuel pump may recieve a little more 'juice', as well as windshield wipers, uh well you get the idea.
