I wanna see pictures of your gauge setup. I'm planning on running Megasquirt, and I haven't decided if I wanna run their screen and get all the data I need in one fell swoop, or run individual gauges.

well idk about this weekend
i might have my soon to be 3month old cam staying over then maybe not

i need to though but yea
and im plannin on keeping it somewhat a sleeper somewhat lol until my funds get up and i can get the little bodywork done

i put in a holley red fuel pump, new holley regulator, new gauges radio and wiring, painted the engine bay, just finished making my new magnaflow work where i have it like a bolt on axle back, have got most of the energy suspensions in, making a strut bar soon, swapped over the: radiator/efan, springs, struts, gas tank, break pads/ rotors (except the rear its 4wheel breaks now), wheels, some other little parts here and there oh gauge cluster and well alot of other little stuff

I'm havin trouble with either the battery or the alternator lol my luck probably both
I'll find out after school when i'll be home

FX guys are at a movie in boston now so i'm not there anymore

battery sucks
didn't have time to get the new one because college ****
in fact in twenty minutes dan moore from UTI will be here

but
whats an easy way to check to see if its just a fault in wiring or something draining the power out of the battery

if u've got a good charge on the battery before hooking the cables to it and there is a good spark when u touch the cables to it with nothing on in the car, that's a good indication there's something drawing the battery down. there should be no spark when putting the cables to it.

the radio only has a very slight draw for the memory(constant +12v all the time). with the switch off the gauges shouldn't be drawing anything. there might be an interior light on that u don't know about.

and it drains really bad when i try and crank it
it starts out cranking good
then gets weak
then weaker
and it won't start =x

sounds like you have a positive wire grounding out somewhere on the chassy. Had the same problem on my SA the positive going to the starter was burned throu and was grounding it self out on the frame cranked real slow.

it really sounds like the battery has a dead cell. pull all the fuses and see if the battery still drains down.

the battery was it
took it back
they swapped it and done it starts =]

yesterday i put some speakers in =/ had to put them in an old messed up storage bin lid because the way they came from the donor car (02 honda accord at school) sounds good as hell with just 2 speakers though

bout to have to order a shiftlight/digital tach so i can drive it
found a cluster that does work on everything but the tach so all i needs the tach for now
around christmas im gonna try and ask for a new set of gauges though

still have it but its so bulky and i actually have and use the switches right there how it was mounted so i found a small one thats made by glowshift thats digital and its just the shift light basically so im using it until i get the full setup of glowshifts or digital gauges just something id like to swap over from mechanical to electric so i can adjust the readings if i need to

but yea the shift light should be here soon and i'll put it in and be able to drive it whenever
so next is saving up for msd setup
or making a strut bar at school
one of those
then probably paint
not sure which order

i just got even more motivated
saw an 80 somethin ferrari today
then saw a 100% stock gsl-se i think an 84
and the gslse looked so much better =]
