Alternator or soemthin
anyone have any trouble with their pulleys up front and belts slipping after removing AC and Air pump. I installed my RB header presilencer and now something is making a really really loud squaking noise

Which belt?
When I removed my A/C and Air pump there was only 1 belt left to run the Alt-water pump.
Do you have Power steering?
Your clutch fan drag could be causing your alt-water pump belt to slip.

BigJim,
When you remove the air pump/belt you loose most the belt contact on the water pump pulley, which what the engine fan/clutch fan are driven off of.
Could just remove the 4 bolts holding the engine fan on and see if it stops making noise. Just don't let the car idle to long in one place.
How old are your belts, are they glazed, which will not them allow to grip, instead slipping.
The stock engine clutch fan engages at speeds less than 45mph or so, so from a standing start, the clutch fan stays engaged even though your engine is turning 7,000 RPM. This puts a lot of stress on the belt because there is not much belt contact patch to drive the water pump and the load the fan is putting on the belt.
Some people buy the double pulley for the alternator (Racing Beat sells them)
I have seen where you can buy a small belt and roll it on between the waterpump pulley-main pulley.
I perfer running a Black Magic electric fan, but that is a different story.

I posted the wrong picture of the alternator double pulley.
Here is the correct pulley picture.
BTW, don't run you car too long with out the engine fan being install, to avoid damage to the engine.

Wow, unhooked the alternator and fan and watnot. It still makes squeling<sp?> noises. Without the noise of the fan i could tell where its comming from better. It sounds like its down near the right side of the lower intake, or actually inside the engine. I felt my hand around there and couldnt feel anythign rubbing or any air or anything, but i just dont kno. Anyone ever hear of a lower intake or upper intake, or anythin near there makin loud squeling<sp?> noises?

If you've mentioned that you have power steering, it could be the idler pulley that goes between the power steering pump and the main engine pulley. When this idler pulley bearing goes out, it squeals something awful.
When you go to replace it, get just the bearing - Mazda factory wants about $180 for the pulley and bearing, and only about $15 for just the bearing. Some ingenuity with a socket that just fits and a mallet and you're in business for a lot less than the complete part.
If you don't have power steering, disregard my input. HTH,

Main engine pulley, is that one on the same part that my fan is connected to? Does that one spin even when the alt belt is off?

The fan spins off of the water pump shaft. Alternator spins off the main belt setup or so I thought.
I do not have PS so my 1 belt runs ALT-WATER PUMP- Main Pulley (eccentric shaft, its the one with the timing marks on it.)
