Alternator ?

Hey guys, i have a question about, if a second generation alternator would fit a first generation rx7. As of now i am a proud owner of a 1989 GTU and i found a first gen for sale for $600 but its in rough shape, and it has no alternator. I would really appreciate the help, i really want this first gen for a project but the only reason why i would buy it is if i can put a second gen alternator on it, also i need a everyday driver.

Thanks

It will work fine. You will have to swap out the plug on the FB with the plug from the FC. If you do a search on the forum you will find a diagram and everything else you want to know.
