Alright, i need some help.

Okay, this is kinda a wierd situation......

I have 2 rx7's. My Se is completely torn down, and on its way to a shop for a while. My gsl is my daily driver, which is having carb problems, but works most of the time.
Well, at work, people often come in and say "whos black rx7 is that out there, i see it here all the time, ect.." And i usually run into some interesting people/deals.
The thing is, a guy came in and said his friend has a car to sell. Interested i called him up, and it ends up being an 81, in good condition body wise... its just been sitting for a while. It has a clear title but the part that has me excited is that it's engine is fairly new and only has 24k on it. .... for $200.....

So the problem is simple, help me brain storm some reasons on why getting this car woudlnt' be bad in my fathers eyes.....
Best thing i can think of is that its a 20k engine for 200 bucks... not to mention other parts....

Buy the car, keep the engine, part out the rest, make your $200 back - essentially, you'd be getting the engine free. How can that be bad?

It sounds like a good deal, if you have a place to put the car that you are parting out. Some people may have some objections to having a half dismantled car sitting around.

Have it towed over. If it's not too far it might only be like 50 bucks and you'll definately get that back after parting it.
