Alright an extremely weird request.

But I would like for someone to find a picture of an eccentric shaft with the rotors still on it, but without the housings or anything else. Does anyone have a picture like this?

I am actually considering getting it tattooed up and down my spine... I just want to get it priced out, and see how much of a stupid idea it is because of cost.

I managed to get 1 pic before my camera died. I certainly wasn't expecting the answer you gave. lol I'll have to look around and see if I can find 2 clean rotors for a better pic.

Personally, I think a rotor in a housing would look better. But you have to wait until tomorrow for that one.

Go for it, it's your skin, not mine. I suppose that would be considered a very high compliment if someone did that.

Heh, no thanks. Tattoos can be forever. Who is really sure that they want to keep the same tattoo when they grow older and older? Come across a few that regretted getting it. But, I guess for others: carpe diem.

I have a rotor with RX7 in the middle on my upper arm.

Not really, but I'd like to.

I met a young lady that was really into 7s and had the Efini/Infini emblem tatooed on her shoulder blade. Looked good, but then so did the rest of her.

He sold the widebody. Chuck still has the tattoo though (obviously, but I mean that he didn't cover it up with another tattoo or anything even though he no longer considers himself a rotary guy). There are a couple people in Fort Wayne with rotary tattoos.

I was really into the idea of having the eccentric shaft and the rotors running vertically up my spine though. I've been wanting to get a rotary tattoo anyway, and I figure that would be the best looking one.

And thanks Trochoid. The pic is much appreciated. I googled, and went everywhere, but everything I found either didn't have the rotors or looked far too cartoonish.

+1

And I'm saying this because I have been thinking about something similar, but in order for a two rotor to stretch far enough to go all the way up the back, the rotors might go from one side of the back to the other. Alot of ink, money, pain.

I should be getting mine soon so I'll suprise you guys with it.

Yeah.. 3 rotor. I hadn't even considered that one yet. It would be quite a bit better looking. I like that idea about a three rotor much better. And I am serious about it. I want to get it priced out and find out exactly how much it is going to cost, then find out how long it will be before coming up with the couple hundred dollars or so for it. I am definitely going to do it.

I don't really know. I only know Chuck through a mutual friend. I don't really talk to much of any of them anymore.

Try this pic, I found it in the audio visual section. Someone on the forum drew it, didn't catch thier name. Shows the correct orientaion of the rotors which my pic didn't.
