air pump lower bracket location?

Hello, everyone,
I'm putting my air pump back on my 84SE after having it off for a long, long time (don't ask why). I am having a difficult time trying to figure out which bolt the bracket mounts to. I tried a few on the water pump housing but it just doesn't seem right. The only one that seems like it would work is the bolt that holds on the clamp for the OMP lines on the bottom of housing (passenger side). It is possible that I may have a S5 pump bracket and not the original SE bracket. I'll know for sure once I know the bolt location to mount the bracket. Can someone verify this for me? A picture or two would be great. The FSM does not show the location of the bracket in the air pump removal section (4B-26-27, 1985 FSM)
Thanks!

i was looking for pictures and maybe we are the only two people running an air pump? Top bolt is pretty obvious, bottom is the one with the metering line clip, metering lines go in front of the bracket

Thanks a lot bro. Exactly what I was looking for. As for running the air pump..........I was using a cheesy lumbar pump to operate the VDI. Although these pumps do the job and actually even bleed off the air, there is a delay in the time it takes to spool up once triggered. Since I installed the Haltech, I now have an RPM trigger wire just for the VDI. So I'm going to trigger the VDI solenoid from the Haltech. With the constant and immediate supply of air from the pump to the solenoid, it will snap the VDI open as it should.......well, I'm hoping so. I with then consider possibly running the aux ports off the air pump too instead of exhaust. I'll have to see how they are opening and at what RPM they are opening and go from there.
Thanks again,
Mike

Mazda would have used a little tank and a check valve to store pressure, but the air pump is easier

Here's a pic on the car. Yeah, I run an Air Pump, it's just not hooked up until I need it!

Thanks LongDuck. What I noticed from your pic and from other pics is that the top elbow faces the passenger side. On my air pump, that fitting faces the driver's side. I did buy it used, and I'm not sure if the inlet/outlet fittings are oriented differently depending on whether it's an S3 or S4/S5 air pump. I haven't tried yet, but I'm thinking that I should be able to turn that fitting?

You can make out one of the cap screws in that photo; loosen them, and you should be able to rotate the inlet fitting to clock it in the direction that you need it.

That elbow is the difference between the 12A and 13B GSL-SE pumps.

Hey LongDuck, on the top bolt, is that just a basic round spacer between the bolt and ear of pump? I broke the rear ear off the pump trying to mount it without the correct thickness of the spacer. Is it about 1/4' thick? Thanks!

its a horse shoe shaped thing, although washers would work. there is a sleeve that moves on the air pump, so the spacer isn't specific

Ok excellent. What is strange is that in order for the pulleys to line up, the air pump is touching or near touching the forward side of the LIM. How close is it on yours?
