I just put a afm adapter and cone filter on my gsl-se, but I had to disconnect the air pump hose to get the stock air box out. I just disconnected the hose from the air pump itself, so the pump is sucking air straight in. Is there anything wrong with that? Does anyone have any suggestions on what I am supposed to do?

 

I believe that it needs to be filtered. You can buy small filters through K&N; some parts houses carry a few in stock.
