1985 GSL-SE Exhaust Needed
I have a STOCK 85 GSL-SE in need of a total exhaust replacement. I know it is only a little ways from being Ga. emissions exempt, so I figure I might as well just go ahead and do it right. The Racing Beat High Performance Exhaust is about $710 for the headers, pre-silencer & muffler altogether. Does anyone know of something comparable so i can see what my other options are??? I would have to pass emissions this year, so a system that has the option to throw a cat in there temporarily would be awsome, but it is not necessary. Only necessity is that it has the tube plaed correctly for the 6-port actuators. That is my only concern. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are no after market systems that are "Catalytic Converter" friendly.
If you still have to pass emissions right now you cannot even put the header on so you might as well wait until you are exempt to do this.
For a complete bolt on there are no other comparable systems to look at. All other options are to install the RB header and make up the rest of your system if you are looking for a different approach.
There is a huge thread on what members have done custom to the their exhaust systems.
Do a search with the term exhaust or muffler, the threads has over 100 posts in it.
