air fuel ratio

took my plugs out today and they were really black. how do i adjust my air fuel ratio to run more lean in a 84 gsl-se? thanks

Replace air filter. Also upgrade to direct fire ignition (no carb mods required lol).

How's the fuel economy?
Might want to check your oxygen sensor.
There's an adjustment for idle mixture, but shortly off idle I think those cars run closed loop.

Ask j9fd3s. His GSL-SE recently had a problem with the rear injector. Also check the AFM.

Eh? Care to explain exactly how it will "**** your car" and why all Rx-7's 86 and onwards run direct fire from the factory?

I don't think that's what he meant. There are enough pro-direct fire threads right now to make him look like an idiot all on his own (if that's what his intention was).

Like I said, fix it and then go direct fire.

oh and to add fuel to the fire the rx8 has 1 coil for each plug.....
