Exclamation ah need help w/ radiator mounts

ok so i found out that the mounts for my radiator were all shot except one, the little spot welds that attach it to the bracket. i fixed it last week with some jb weld, or so i thought. i was drivin around my street right now just to keep her in good order when i hit a slight bump and the radiator fell off. its got an electric fan luckily, so the electric fan got caught on the shaft where the old fan used to be so it didnt fall off. i stopped as smoothly as possible ha asap and grabbed my shirt so i wouldnt get burned and put it back on the bracket and drove home.
my question is how should i fix the radiator? would solder be strong enough to hold it in place or should i get somebody to weld it in for me?
thanks guys
ps i have some pics of it as of 2 weeks ago and some of my bros gf's car which is why mines not done yet. the body panels are on now though cause the pics havent been updated, but as you can tell im workin out the bugs before i get back on the road after its been sittin for about a month and a half. i would have more pics but its not my page
my car after wreck:

my car before wreck

(and my bros 92 gt vert, way faster than my car but not as much fun to drive i think, and my friend wards 67 stang with a fully built 302 thats fast and has corbeaus and a roll bar, but handles like a dump truck)

Hi Gamble,
Sounds like you had an interesting evening!
The side brackets were soldered on originally, the things that look like spot welds are holes drilled throught the bracket filled with solder. Solder is the best way to put them back on. It's not real easy to do, but it's a lot easier than trying to put a tank on. I have a radiator left over from my swap, buts it's the early short one. Looked at your pics, beautiful car! Wish mine was that nice.

Kerry

I guess I got lucky with the JB Weld, My upper drivers side mount became seperated, I roughed it up, applied it after I had the engine and rad nice and warm, then applied it around the edges (2 inches around) let it cure, painted it black, and its still there 2 years later figured as long as it still cools great, I'll try to keep it in the car.

Gamble, you probably can't get enough heat on it with an iron. You'll need to use a torch. If you can wait til next weekend, I'll help you with it. That would be a good excuse to get together.

Get the factory manual form Mazdatrix. www.mazdatrix.com

It costs about $80 instead of $125 which is what I was quoted at the local stealership.

The manuals aren't originals, they're reprints; So the pics are kinda washed out. I use a combonation of the Haynes, Factory and advice from you guys.

you are in luck, i was there last week and they had one and i was just debating on wether or not i want one on my car, i dont want one anymore though. if its still there i'll grab it. it wasnt perfect, but there were no cracks, just minor flaws around the edges that could be fixed with bondo. i dont know how much shipping will be though. oh yeah its gold

damn the jy sucked today, they had just gotten rid of a few rex's so they only had 2 first gens this time, none of which had any good parts. no radiators decent enough to take out. i asked a dude that works there and he said they were geting another complete one in by this weekend w/ spoiler, louvers, and the works. if its an se im gonna be forced to jack everything off of it includeing brakes etc. if not i'll at least get the wing and the glass top if it has one. the jy is becoming my hangout lol
