Aftermarket Wiring Harness

Anyone know of a company that makes light weight wiring harness without AC, emissions (*cough*), Power door...etc...

Or do I have to go thru the wiring and take it out.

Thanks

Dont think anyone makes aftermarket harness for these vehicles. Why do you want to remove? rx7doctor

Hi Doc,

Just like to have a neat wiring harness. All the stuff not used and hanging about doesn't look good ;-)

Makes sense to me, might try and take excess wiring and put it in wire loom and tuck off to the side. Don;t recommend cutting anything though. rx7doctor

i helped a friend remove everything in his 7. Bascially we just ripped off all the electrical tape off of the wiring bundles, found all the unused connectors and worked back to the main harnesses and then cut/ removed. We were careful enough to not have cut or removed anything that was needed. For the time that it took it hardly seemed worth it though, and cutting into the harness will turn out being a huge mistake if you ever need any of those things in the future. The worst part was taping it all back up together... we went through a good 200 ft of electrical tape (dont ask how)
