Cool Aero-Turbine Mufflers

Hey, I don't know if anyone else here has tried them but there is a shop near me that sells them and they set me up a very nice deal on a 2540 for the 83. I did also listen and look over the one installed on the owners F-150 and with that being the only muffler on the truck it was damn quiet. So on the 23rd I will find out how they work with a rotary, will post pics and clips when it is done. For more info goto www.aero-turbine.com

Oh and with how the sucker works I think it may give a rotary a nice boost and better flames.

Can't wait to hear the outcome. Hopefully you can post sound clips too.

On my daily driver, Spirit R/T, with 3 inch exhaust i put on one of these mufflers, and it's actually pretty dang loud. If i wouldn't have already welded the tip onto the Muffler, i woyuld have prob sent it back. It's held up well over the past year, but it definately doesn't do anything to deaden the sound at all, just makes the car legal b/c there's a muffler on it.

Sounds interesting

But in the video on their site they used a brief clip of the Fast and the Furious.

I dunno about it now

I will be running a resonator, and from what I have seen so far they work well when installed right. That is the biggest thing and the guy told me it will still be loud because there isn't enough room behind the axle todo the right kind of piping so we are trying to mount it farther back by cutting the piece of sheet metal around the muffler tip. Will put up sound clips, and it won't be any louder then it is now. And if I need to I will add a second resonator. And the truck i heard w/ it on it was quiet as heck so I wanna see how it will go.

I know on mine i have thought about putting in a resonator, but not so sure there would be any room to fit it, and it's pretty low on my priority list
