I went out to start the car this morning and when I do the AC pump starts running but the AC is turned off. I tried turning the AC on and off and changing the settings to defrost, etc., but it still stayed on, I also tried turning the car off and on and it still runs. What the hell is going on?

 

Should be a litlle (I think Green) wire going to the compressor. IT should have a disconnect available. Use it as a test. Otherwise your compressor my be locked.

check the relay switch. you should be able to hear it work.

where it is .... i dont know, im new to these cars too but i do diagnose electrical fairly well. there is one in the circut somewhere.
