AC Fuse Blows immediately when AC is turned on.
It is an 81. My first thought was a broken wire is shorting it out but I followed the wires the best I could (I am still very new and don't know my way around the car that well) and all of the wires seem to be in perfect condition. I am at a loss as to where I should start and searching the forums hasn't turned up much for me.
I am a professional solder and cable repair and manufacture technician so any repairs that require wire work should be no problem for me. I also have access to a multimeter so if I need to test something out I can. I just do not know where to start.
Thanks in advance guys.
*edit*
I forgot to mention it also has an aftermarket amp and alarm system.

I was just thinking. My clitch switch is bad I believe. I can start the car without depressing the clutch. If I remember right the clutch switch is used somewhere in the circuit so is it possible that is the problem?

Unplug the compressor and see if it still blows a fuse when you turn everything on. That'd be a quick check to confirm/eliminate a short in the a/c compressor clutch.
The clutch pedal switch will turn off cruise control when activated. Shouldn't have anything to do with the a/c fuse.

It is solved. I put in a new fuse and for some reason it did not blow this time. The blower was not blowing and the light only illuminated on low and med. It dropped my RPMs by about 400 whenever it was on.
I disconnected the connectors to the blower, opened it up and found a large deposit of rust on the bottom plastic cap. Looks like it was rusting out. I tried testing it out with a multimeter but got no continuity. I put it all back together, turned it on. It works only on high and barely drops my tach by 100 RPM (to be expected I am assuming). It looks to me like the rust is increasing the resistance so that it is only able to blow on high. It also had a nasty rattle for the first 20 seconds or so then cleared up.
So, looks to be corroded motor. Now it's time to order one since they seem to be impossible to find anywhere and they're the first thing that gets stripped in salvage yards.
