88 Turbo II- 4 port or 6 port?

Is the 88 Turbo II engine a 4 port or 6 port?. The reason I am asking is because both the turbo and non-turbo engines in 88 had the same compression 9.4:1. My understanding is that other all 13b turbo engines after 1984 were 4 port and all non turbo engines were 6 port. Please clarify?

Ryad.

i'm pretty sure all turbo engine r 4 port, as for compression, i believe the turbos have something like 8.7:1 compression and non turbo engines, depending on the year, have between 9.2 to 9.7.

don't remember where it is but i found lots of info on different years and compression ratios on this site.

the HOW TO section gives good info on swaps.

there's also areas on identification thru the various years.

all turbo II's are 4 port. the compresion on a turbo motor is not the same compression as the non-turbo.

The 13B turbos are 4-port. 86-88 turbo rotors are 8.5:1 and 89-91 are 9.0:1. 86-88 NA are 9.4:1 and 89-91 NA are 9.7:1.
