Hello
Trying to get my rear wiper motor to work, digging around and found these 2 connectors...?
Passenger(right) rear where the jack is located
Thank you for any help!
Makes sense. Mine doesnt have a power antenna... Its a fixed screw on one. But theres 2 connectors. One has one cable , the other has 3 of different colors..
Electric antenna. The single wire connector is the antenna lead to the radio, while the other 3-pole is power up, down, and ground. Take a close look back there, as the rear washer bag is mounted there, too. It would have a 2-pole connector for power and ground, and the washer bag held the fluid with a motor pump mechanism providing the pressure when energized. The bag hung by 2 metal rings from the body. I removed mine when I installed the hatch, but it's still out in the garage if you want a picture.
The washer bag is installed on the left side of the hatch compartment, not the right near the antenna. However, LongDuck is correct on all other points, those are the connectors for the power antenna.

Thank you all. Yes my washer bag is there on the left and works. Is it normal for the car not to have a power antennae but have connectors. Seems like this car had all options except power steering and leather seats...
Still, neither the rear defroster nor the rear wiper work when i press the dash button.
Only other thing that doesnt work is the front headlight squirters. Probably a dead pump since pressing the button makes no noise but causes the lights to dim somewhat...
Mazda only made one chassis wiring harness for any given year. Manual steering cars had the connectors for the power steering switch/solenoid, manual trans cars had the connectors for the PRNDL light (aka "I had my shifter boot off, saw these two bullet connectors, plugged them together, and now my dimmer switch is blown") and the automatic trans controller under the passenger footwell...
