Passenger side strut tower, just behind the AFM is a 2-prong white plug that can be 'shunted' with a small section of wire with 2 crimp connectors. It is NOT the green one (3-lead TPS adjustor), it is the WHITE one.

Put the jumper across the 2 poles and your fuel pump should turn on even though the engine is not turning - this keeps the engine from flooding with the high pressure pump running ONLY when the AFM says their's air going in.

Also, you know that carbs operate off of 4-5psi vs. your EFI pump putting out 35-55psi, right???

I would just wrap it up somewhere and zip tie it into place - you may decide to go back one day and will regret cutting that part out. HTH,

IF you are going carby, I recommend unplugging the entire harness from the passenger side. Once you go with carb, there are approximately 4 wires that you will use...oil pressure, water temp & 2 wires going to the alternator. Get your lazy *** and go to junkyards in Ontario/Fontana area (3 junkyards) and get it from a non-GSL-SE.

And yes, I agree with Longduck on keep the orignal harness in tack.
