85 RX-7 GSL-SE gas gauge not working

Hey guys, its been awhile since I have had a RX-7 and over a decade since I have had a first gen (Never had a GSL-SE before)

Anyway I am going to look at one tommaro (85 RX-7 GSL-SE) and the seller says the gas gauge doesn't work.

I tried the search function & didn't find any results, maybe I am doing it wrong? Anyway...Any help?

Thanks much and I am kind of excited about this "Old school" RX-7...

I hope its as nice as he says it is...

Don't worry.

What ever it is it won't be a big deal.

Good luck.

Pull the left rear plastic shroud behind the tire. You will see your fuel level sending unit. Check to see if it corroded or not. If it is claen real nice. If not it is probably the unit itself, $111 Maxdatrix!
