85 GSL Not able to adjust heat direction

Hows it going everyone, here again with some electrical issues, story goes i've had my dash out when i did my 2nd gen subframe swap so i could mount the steering column etc.

Now after everything is back together i noticed the blower motor is working fine, but the heat direction controls(push button electronic switch type) are not, always worked before, the lights not even on to show the selection and after some digging i don't think i have the right connector for the BLUE W/ BLACK STRIPE, BLACK, AND RED connector coming FROM the unit, I looked at the wiring diagram and it would make sense this would be the power source but does anyone have their stereo out or that area open to go look what the hell color wires these are supposed to connect to? keep in mind this is probably for 84-85's only i think the 83's and earlier are a different style

i'm stumped i took my dash BACK out to make sure there wasn't any connectors i didn't see hiding somewhere, right now i took the whole harness off the dash to try to get the wiring right then i'm gonna label everything to reconnect it, im not an electrician so i can't tell if the wiring diagram from the fsm shows what color they are supposed to connect into or not.

disclaimer, there has been some hacked wiring in this area for a stereo thanks to the PO, but it always worked before, everything else seems to be working and i took the A/C out a LONG time ago so thats not a possibility

thanks in advance
eric

well its official, i feel like a tard lol, i've got good news, i somehow never saw the correct damn 3 pin plug until i took it all apart but its right there with the other heater control type wiring, which is go figure the same damn color in the harness, blue w/ black stripe , black and red. Secondly, after making sure all other wiring was accounted for and several key on checks with no avail, i consulted the fsm again for the body electrical manual and found that the AIR CONDITIONING fuse was the circuit for the operation of the logicon , could've sworn i never had that fuse in place and after triple checking the BLOWER and DEFOG fuses, i found a 15A fuse and put it in and turned key on and voila everything is working again, figured i'd share my overlooking with everyone lol

In short, even if you don't have a/c, if the controls aren't working check the fuse in the AIR CONDITIONING slot.
