85 GS 12A wont iddle

It will iddle for like 30secs then it slowly slows down to a stop whats wrong it seem to ruin longer with the breather off to.

no idle

Does it make a honking sound coming from the air cleaner area? If so. It could be
the coasting/shutter valve. This is a common failure part.
