85 Front Wiper motor

Hi all! I haven't been on this forum since 2010 so it seems and it won't let me create a listing in the marketplace, I'm assuming that's the reason why anyway. So if there is anyone with a working and in good order Front Wiper motor for an 85 or knows where to get one it would be greatly appreciated!

If you want a new one, check rockauto:

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...per+motor,8824

But there's probably some used ones out there for a decent price.

That is not a "new" one exactly......that is that you send yours to get rebuilt....

And you will be without wipers for a while......

And a tip for you: wipers need to be 'parked' in up right position to most easily pull the motor/transmission assy.
Also, the harness connector from the motor to the cars main harness can disintegrate from sun/UV (mine fell apart in my hand as I disconnected it. And that was 15 yrs ago). So make sure it isn't just the connection that has caused the failure! And on that note you will want to replace the harness connection. For that you can go to Easternbeaver.com - who sell OE style new harness connections.

Just as an FYI, Riggs Vintage Mazda has used ones. They're in Canada. Found on Facebook.
