hello to all!

i am new to the forum; this would be my first post. i've been reading some of the other posts and i confess that a lot of it is technically beyond me!

nonetheless, i am the third owner of an 84 GSL-SE with 90,000 original miles. it was a chicago car but had always been stored in the winter. it has after-market window tint, airdam and spoiler and alarm system. the body is in excellent condition, one small ding and a scratch or two. interior is also very good. no rips or tears on the seating. stereo console has some tarnish. carpeting is still nice. basically the car has been babied all these years.

i have most maintenance repair records going back to the first owner. and of course, i've had some work done on it also, mostly within the past year. i didn't want to drag out this post with the details...but i was wondering, what might this car be worth?

i would like to sell it within the next 18 months or so. i'm not in a hurry but i wouldn't mind parting with it for a reasonable offer. i guess when cars are this age, they are precious only to enthusiasts, so i was hoping to get a bit of feedback.

any suggestions would be much appreciated! thank you for reading this post and my apologies if i have posted in the wrong part of the forum!

if there is no rust i would imagine you could get around 2700 for it, but if it is rusty, espically the undercaradge then that puts you in a new ball park,


ps if you have pictures post em, it would be helpful

i've seen them go for more and i've seen them go for less...IMO, sell it for what you want to sell it for...

also keep in mind this forum is notoriously cheap

i will take some pics and should be able to post them next week. it is really a beautiful car; the desert brown metallic. no rust.

once i sell, i don't plan on getting another vehicle. i know it will sound odd on an RX7 forum, but i've just come to find public transportation less expensive and less worrisome....

Hades12 ~ thank you so much for the link and for bringing to my attention the classifieds section of the forum! i should have posted there in the first place and not muddied up this board, but i hadn't scrolled down far enough to see that portion of it. i should start a new thread there with more specific information or maybe one of the mods wants to move this post...
