Later this week I am going to check it amist m busyness of moving. I would just like to kn0w if you think his deal is good.

Here is his deal

-84 RX-7 GLS-SE
-70,000 miles
-Body in great to good shape I told
-Needs new exhast system
-Makes little noise, unless you hold the air hose, then it sounds perfect
-He is ask $2,500

I think I'd offer him 1800-2000 and see if he takes that. 2500 isnt a bad price though if it is really in good condition.

yeah, I agree it is not a bad price at 2000.00 BUT!!! what will it need....you don't want to go soaking a lot of $$ into it when you are buying it at 2000.00...are the seats ripped, any dents, needs paint, howis the exhaust, tranny, was it overall taken care of???..You got to look at the whole picture....its not that easy to just say, Yeah 2000.00 go for it...with out knowing a lot more about it. just my opinion....cjf

Well, that is why I am sending my dad. He is like a car guru sort of. He used to trick out cars all the time back in the day, and he used to sell RX-7s at a mazda dealership. All I now is that it has been stored for like the last 5-6 years, and the cars is in good to great shape. I know nothign of interior, but I now the car runs great, just that it needs a new exhaust.

I finallyy saw the car after many delays, I and the guy is on vacation, so I could not take it out for a spin. But the exhaust is totally shot, hell, my dad actaully took a chunk of the exhaust off with almsot no touch to it. Found out form the neighboor that the guy still drives it about one a week, to keep it running good. there were only 2 rust spots, and they where minor. It also ad some big Bosch Halogon Fog Lights in the front. And the interior was a maroon. I just need to find out how it runs now, and if it runs good, I am getting it.
