84-85 Silver Face Gauges are in.....
Hey
Went to Sevenstock yesterday and stoped by the SRMotorsports table...........The gauges were in........
They asked if I wanted them to install them since my car was there.........OK..............
They look great........they have a different power supply that changes the brightness of the blue and red at night
The white bulbs still work in the dash and can be adjusted with the dial...........this still controls the brightness of the needles and odometer areas as well as the center console.......
They are silver........the pictures make them look white....
I added Dodge Intrepid needles to the Tach and Spedo
Came out great..........
Te Faces overlay on the orig gauges......just have to take out the screws.......This way you can go back to stock.........Cool............
After I got home I had to go out again......the colors at night are so cool.........
What do you think...............

is it just your picture, or are your needles really that hard to see at night? If so, it kinda negates the whole idea of having gauges in the first place...

It is the picture.....During the day the New needles look great and at night.........the old color can be seen both ways just fine..........If the gauges were white no way.......
I will probably paint the old needles orange.........Not with nail polish......or covert the stock needles to Intrepid ones.....
They are clear orange so at night you see the whole needle

BTW, I noticed the dimmer switch also has a "GREEN" button. Does this work? If so, show us as well.

I will try again with the night pictures............My camera
does not like it when I put my finger over the flash.
The button has two brightness levels.........and then the dial adjusts to your level..........
I like it all the way up..................

The night time shots remind me of the new VW's. "Blue and red".
The guages look good in the sense that the work good and look like they are supposed to be there, but I personally don't like the color. I like the original stock look.

An then you change all the rest of the center console lighting from orange to blue.
Then you have an "Original" Modern Blue interior.

No problem, that's what colors are for, so everybody can be happy.
BTW, I like the original Orange as well, but I have gone far beyond the "mod factor" on my car, and have decided to go all out.
Besides the factory orange, I have always like the VW Blue that's out now.
