83 Widebody project for sale

Selling this for a friend in Ashland, Ohio

83 unfinished project. been in storage about 9 years. motor has not been started in 8.
Comes with Suspension Tech coils, Tokico blues and the Whaletale, all uninstalled.
Was going to be a "fun" street car built by a fellow RX-7 owner who has owned all the generations and lost interest...
Porsches and 7 second drag cars are his hobbies now.
Its been untouched for 5 or so years collecting dust in a climate controlled garage.
Just entertaining offers right now, have no clue of value.

I Love those Tan Interiors. It makes the car look like an Italian Exotic.

How rare are those tan interiors? I've always wanted a rex in tan but I've only seen a handful in my lifetime. I'd buy that car just for the interior!

The looks like a great project to finish up. I wish it was a little closer to the west coast.

tjgosurf - Owner lost intrest.

79fb - Not sure who made it but it was bought along time ago, but not sure by who.

Directfreak - if it wasnt a widebody I would be driving the tan interior FB

TheMutt - the kits is blended to the body so it would be a pain to remove, I wish I could, I'd love to have a black FB with tan interior.

I'll try to get more pix of the storage bin area and engine and what not. I was going to buy it years ago and make it an AutoX beast, but I've got to many other projects. I even thought about just removing the tan interior

Do you have any idea how much he would want for it? I think it'd be perfect for my 12aT setup

Not a clue, I've thrown some numbers at him but we never came up with a figure.
