83 Mazda underside parts question!

Hi I had a question on my 83 Mazda whoever had it did not take good care off it but I think it has had a long journey before me a believe it was in California, Arizona, and even Canada. Under my car all my parts like my frame and such are rusted and flaking but there is no holes in any of the parts all solid I am wondering if I would need to get any of those parts replaced or will they be fine?

Your best bet is to take it to a body shop and have them appraise the situation. Just because the rust hasn't eaten actual holes doesn't mean the metal isn't compromised.

You can replace suspension parts or smaller structural pieces like the front subframe, transmission crossmember or rear axle, but there's no way to get rid of actual body rust, if it's bad enough, other than by cutting out the old and welding in a new piece.

I have a couple holes in the underbody where the bins are which I read is real common for these cars.
