83 GL starter question.

Hey all, I am new here but had my 7 for about 10 years now.
Recently ran into problems when i installed a new lightweight fly wheel and clutch.
Sense then I have been unable to get the starter to install correctly.

Does anyone have a schematic of the wires to reinstall it?

Right now when i install it the way I believe it would go, when i connect the battery it spins up the starter constantly until I pull the batt again.

Any idea's or help would be apreciated. thanks

btw here is my baby...

I don't think the picture is his signature. The signature is separated by a small line and I see no line.

Do you have a Haynes manual or a FSM? If not, go to the FAQ section of this forum. There will be a wiring diagram and schematic of the starter. It sounds like you have the silinoid wired wrong.

Good luck.
