Ok selling my stock set up and theres a guy interested but he needs to know if my 82 intake and carb will work on his 79? He says the build date is 8/78.

Yes. I have an 83 Nikki and intake on my 79 (built 9-78). If your keeping the emissions you will need to do a little plumbing work on the carb hat for the charcoal canister etc. No big deal. Just remove the rats nest and buy a Racing Beat hat.
