81-82 flywheel condition advice needed.

I would love to hold onto my 81-82 23 pound flywheel but under inspection I've found some questionable issues pictured. As for the rear main bearing seat marks will it still seal and if not can i fix it.... i.e. leading or jb welding and smoothing to flush?

It is really hard to tell how deep the gouges are on the friction surface in the photos. So, I would find a machine shop that does flywheel resurfacing and get their opinion regarding whether or not the friction surface ruined.

As far as the sealing surface, it might be repairable and maybe the same machine shop could check on that as well. Looks like somebody had a hell of a time getting this off of an engine at some point.

It looks like your ring gear is also quite worn, that might need to be replaced or you'll have starter problems.
