8.7sec in the 1/4, 170+mph, 1.3 sec 60 foot time

And those numbers are without the nitrous.

Stopped by my friends shop yesterday and found out he finally go his drag car up and running. He went to the track over the weekend and got his pro license. These numbers are from his best run of the day.
Next time out it's my understandng he will start testing with the nitrous.

OK, just got of the phone with on off the guys who works at the shop and he gave me some more info. Mike who owns/runs the car is out with a messed up foot from water skiing so I did not get to talk to him.

The car is a 1st gen. with a Jspec motor running alcohol, 8 injectors, full Motec and a huge Turbonetics turbo. It will run in the pro modified class in NHRA. They are putting together a web site right now. www.loweperformance.com

On to the 1st gen. board. :-)

Ya I've heard Lowe Performance really knows their ****. Are they like completely booked up? I'd really like them to take a look at my car. Any idea how much they charge to look at a car, just the minimum? I got a couple other places to go, but heard they are very reputable. Thanks.
