The 7 might be dead.... Help needed

The 7 might be dead.... Help needed.
All of you rotorheads please tell me that I did not loose a apex seal.

I was running down the highway when a civic rolled up next to me (running 65-70 mph) so I down shifted to 3rd, ran 3rd to about 7K then hit 4th. At this time I had a car length on him. Well I ran 4th and pulled away from him hard. About 115 mph in 4th still I let off the gas as I had spanked him bad. Well as it was slowing down I felt a jerk then I thought everything was ok but I noticed that my speed was dropping even if I gave it more gas.
Well I had to get off the exit before he caught back up to me. But when I got off the exit I had nooooooooo power and the car stalled when I came to a stop. Well I pulled in the gas station and could not see anything that stuck out. Well, I was about 3 miles from my inlaws home so I drove it very slowly as it would not pick up speed to their house and parked it. When home got the trailer and truck and brought it home where it now sits.
It would not really get over 35-40 mph on the way to their house. This really has me wondering where to start. So any ideas as to what it could be and where to start looking. This really sucks because I just talked the wife into letting me keep it since it was not costing us any money!

If the motor gets replaced is the streetport worth the money since I have the RB streetport dual exaust?
how much hp extra will it give me?

Take the leading spark plugs out and turn the engine manually (pull on the fan belt). You should hear a puff each time the tips run past the open holes. If you don't hear a puff on one of the turns, you've blown a seal.

You can check the distributor cap too, maybe you just burned it out.

Thanks

Thanks for the ideas so far. I will look into those.

Also I forgot to say this did happen to my GSL-SE.
