6 port carb/turb or 4 port carb/turb?
okay, i want to go turbo, and that is for sure,... i own an 85 gsl-se, i thought of doing a turbo/carb system , but i would like a turbo 2 motor and tranny instead. I want to be secure after turbocharging my gsl-se, (basically knowing that my tranny wont blow, and my motor will last w/ a decent amount of boost running to it.) i am wanting to do a carb, turbo 2 motor in my car now, witha turbo 2 tranny,... what opinions can u guys give me, like on what i should do,.....???
well let me know,

if your GSLSE engine is healthy enought ( like almost brand new engine) turbocharge it, but if you engine have alot of miles and have seen better days, is time for a tII swap. but that you decision and for the tranny, a tII tranny is a must because theres no garantee that a N/A tranny will last a few pass with a turbo engine
