have you thought about saving money and buying a larger (i.e. 80's caprice or crown vic) $500 beater? i could never part with my 7's, nick. i understand that you're young and governed by your parents but i'm just suggesting some other options here to help you. the rx-7 hold up well in a lot of accidents. you have a lot of front and rear metal to crush before you're effected. the only weak side i see are the doors. other than that, WEAR YOUR SEATBELT and don't drive like an idiot and everything should be fine. i'm a police officer and i've seen a couple fatalities that could have been prevented if the driver of the vehicle had been wearing their seatbelt. here in ohio, the law mandates the occupants in the front seats must wear their seatbelt or its a violation of the law. i hope you can keep your car and if not best of luck in the future.

I don't think he's done a compression test (correct me if I'm wrong) he was just told (incorrectly) by the previous owner that it had low compression rotors, they probably meant the earlier, heavier ones.
Also, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the compression ratio on N/A 12a's was 9.4:1, not 9.5:1 as someone stated here earlier....

Thanks for all the responses. I will try to post up some high quality pictures of the spare tire well and stuff. Any little nit picking thing I can find.
