5 Letter Revival
Hooray! More wiring issues! Got everything rigged back up and ready to run, tried cranking her up. Have not been able to successfully get the car to run by itself yet. Sounded like it was trying to run on one rotor so I went ahead and checked the signal coming from the injectors. Front injector had 12V, good deal. Rear injector was only getting 6, BAD. I've pulled off all of the relays on the drivers side of the engine and did some cleaning with no change. It seems like I have a corroded wire somewhere, about to blast the fuse box with connection cleaner.

I would check the resistance between the injector pins and the plug at the ecu. This will let you know if the wiring is faulty. Likely corroded wiring as you suspect but I think its worth looking at. If you need a picture of the ecu connector pinout I can post it.
Please do, thanks for the advice!
MAJOR UPDATEThe car now runs under it's own power!! Turns out none of the wires were bad, but that some hidden connections were dirty and the actual connection to the injectors was poor too. After starting the car for the first time with fuel injection, it proceeded to have a stroke, then a seizure, and then it finally figured itself out. She fires up right away, did a comp test awhile ago when it wouldn't start, and got a good even 90 psi on each rotor. Right now, the idle is around 1500rpm. The car will freely rev if given gas, and will try to settle around 1000rpm before climbing back up to 1500. If I gradually increase throttle there is a noticeable pulse/surge that starts to happen. I've redone a majority of the the vacuum lines on the car already, but it seems like there's still a leak somewhere that has to be dealt with.
Getting somewhere, sealed up some vacuum leaks and the car is idling alot better. But now it is hunting between 1100-800. If I rev up the engine and let the idle come down it will act like it's going to die but will catch itself and then idle back up and start the hunting process again. Probably going to pull the throttle body off and clean it, also planning on cleaning the idle air control valve too. Could a leaky exhaust gasket/bad O2 sensor cause this as well?
The car is no longer trying to die when the rpms are settling. However it's still hunting. There's a massive vacuum leak at the break booster, but capping that off at the intake changes nothing. Starting to wonder if my IAC Valve is broken as nothing changes from me plugging it in vs me in plugging it. Also if I unplug the vacuum line running to the IAC Valve the idle jumps to 2200 and sits there and there is an audible hissing heard even if I plug both disconnected lines. Maybe something down in the rats nest?
Big update, getting the car registered next week. Needed a new tranny, and still has a wack idle. But she rips just fine when your actually driving it. Still a long way to go, but at least she'll be back on the road.
Subscribed! Great to see these things being brought back to life! Nice job on getting it running and driving again. Best of luck with the restoration. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
