4x110 to 5x114.3 conversion?

Well im in the process of ordering my 8" rear end tomorrow, which has a 5x114.3 bolt pattern, and i was wondering (since i know its been done) What exactly it takes to do a 5x114.3 (or 5x4 1/2) lug swap on my FB? Im wanting to buy some wheels, but i dont want o have to buy 2 different lug patters. Can someone help me out here...need 4x114.3 or 5x114.3 up front bad.

adapters will give you whatever bolt pattern you want, if thats the way you want to go. Otherwise swap to SE suspension in the front and you'll have 4x114.3.

how reliable/ safe/ secure are adapters?

If he did the se swap he would have different bolt patterns in front then in rear?

in my opinion, the best and easiest way is to upgrade the front to the fc 5 lug. thats wat i did with the help of respeeds big brake kit. very easy install and cheap...only thing is you need to supply your own fc hub caliper brake rotor bearings and seal.

do a search on my name and youll find my post about respeed brake kit.

im too lazy to look back on it myself

no. i am also doing the rear. i have 4x114 to 5x114 adapters for the rear as a temp fix. i plan on either getting axles and rotors redrilled or swapping over 2nd gen 5 lug rear hubs using a write up on the forum.
