4x108 rim on a base model 85
is there any way that a 4x108 bolt pattern would fit on a base model 85 cuase i want rims but cant seem to find any 4x110's that i like thanx alot guys
110 mm = 4.3307
108 mm = 4.2519
Those are the inch conversions for the bolt circle. I have seen a set mounted. They fit over the lugs but the lug nut taper does not seat well. I would not try it.

Maybe if you just enlarged the holes slightly. I think you'd be fine because 1st gens are hubcentric (is that right?), which means the wheel is centered and held by the hub not the lugs. The lugs are there only to hold the wheels on.
So, if the wheels you want have the correct size hub opening bit (there's a name for that too!) and are the right offset, you shouldn't have a problem.

I got stung on a wheel deal and ended up with 108s. I have run them and things just didn't feel right. So, my suggestion is don't get them, don't try them, just get the right wheels.
But, if you do want a set of 108s, I will sell you some CHEAP.
