I wouldn't try it. You might be able to force the wheel on but the lug nuts would forever be loosening themselves. It'd be a safety nightmare.

110 mm = 4.3307
108 mm = 4.2519

Those are the inch conversions for the bolt circle. I have seen a set mounted. They fit over the lugs but the lug nut taper does not seat well. I would not try it.

Maybe if you just enlarged the holes slightly. I think you'd be fine because 1st gens are hubcentric (is that right?), which means the wheel is centered and held by the hub not the lugs. The lugs are there only to hold the wheels on.

So, if the wheels you want have the correct size hub opening bit (there's a name for that too!) and are the right offset, you shouldn't have a problem.

I think.

I got stung on a wheel deal and ended up with 108s. I have run them and things just didn't feel right. So, my suggestion is don't get them, don't try them, just get the right wheels.

But, if you do want a set of 108s, I will sell you some CHEAP.

Aftermarket wheels are normally lugcentric.

Besides, you can't just "open the holes up". Wheels aren't just bolted on like, say, a water pump. The tapered jug nut is a system.
