2nd Gen rims on my 1st gen

Does anyone know if the base model rims from an '87 2nd generation RX-7 will fit on a 1983 RX-7 S? The rims are 14inchers with a 4 lug pattern. Anyone try this before? I was just wondering if it was possible.

Thanks,
Ike

Nope, they will only fit onto a GSL-SE

if they will fit on a gslse, then you would have to swap the breaks, suspension, and the rest of that setup to be able to use gslse bolt pattern wheels

Yes but then you'd need to put in a 13B to be able to haul around the bigger, heavier brakes (ducking, running)
