ON 2nd Gen plugs

Hello,

I have a 82 RX7, MSD direct fire with 2nd gen leading coil pack. I currently have NGK 7405 (R5672A-9) in right now. But its time to change.

I have been eyeing up these NGK 4764 (BUR7EQP) for my leading. But the thing I noticed was that the thread was different from these plugs to my plugs already in the car.

BUR7EQP was 21.5mm and the R5672A-9 are 19mm

Should that concern me?? Can I use these 2nd gen plugs in my car? I have not purchased these plugs yet, so I will wait for reccomendations on what to do.

Oh and totaly off topic, I installed a GM 105AMP alt. in my car and all I can say is wow. major improvment on light brightness, powerwindows, headlights when the go up and down. Very happy. Sorry for putting this in here, But very excited from this mod.

Thanks,
