While some may find this an odd post, I still feel that it will be useful to those that own GSL-SEs and are in need of a new accelerator cable, even tho the SE cables are now discontinued. I figured this will provide as a good search answer for anyone that does do a search. I have and have only come up with one search answer and it was kind of vague. So, this is here for those that are new and do a search. I will try my best to use the most common keywords one would use in searching for this.

I got my non-turbo 2nd Gen ('86) accelerator cable from Black Dragon Auto yesterday and installed it today. I am glad to say that it is exactly as my tech at the rotary shop said, they are both the same length. Sure enough, it was the same length and went in just fine. One will more than likely have to readjust the nuts along the cable where it mounts onto the back of the engine to ensure proper pull on the gas pedal.
